Description
In the rural mountains of Virginia an orphaned stable boy received a beautiful chestnut colt he named Copper, as the reward of a lifetime, only to have his horse snatched from him by people who wanted his horse for financial gain and fame. His faith and Christian friends sustained him in his quest to find his horse and to right this wrong. The author is an attorney by profession, but she has always had a heart for horses. Having read many, many horse stories as a young girl, she knew she could write a book that would keep a young person’s interest and also show how prayer and faith can be an integral part of a boy’s life. “The Copper Colt” shows that despite many trails, Daniel kept his eye on God as the source of his help, comfort, and his peace.
